We report second harmonic generation from 2-D GaAs photonic crystal waveguides. Enhancements >1000x are observed if one or both of the fundamental and second harmonic beams are resonant with a waveguide mode. Biography. Henry van Driel is Professor of Physics at the University of Toronto.
